What Are the Steps to Get Started?

We are so excited you are considering bringing or joining a mission team at UCI. We know it can seem overwhelming, but we encourage you to read through the below to find a few simple steps to get started.

  1. Read Stephen Corbett’s summary of “When Helping Hurts” (can review a summary here). 
  2. Contact UCI with a proposed date for your trip and any additional questions you might have. 
  3. You (and each member of your team) will need to fill out our UCI Haiti Trip Application Form that can be sent by email
  4. Print out the UCI Mission Trip Expense Form for when you are ready to turn in your team’s fees and expenses.
